Rob worked for the National Trust as a Countryside Warden for 10 years before developing the concept for Vesper Conservation & Ecology Limited, having previously also worked for the RSPB and private conservation estates. During his 12  years working in the conservation & ecology sectors he has amassed a wealth of experience undertaking all aspects of conservation management, from baseline surveying for a wide range of species groups, to designing habitat restoration & re-creation projects, to implementing the practical elements of habitat projects, including managing specialist contractors.

He has a particular interests in livestock management and can offer simple, practical solutions to managing livestock on conservation sites based on significant experience working with sheep and cattle. He is also currently undertaking research investigating the impact of habitat creation schemes on the Southern Damselfly, again integrating his understanding of conservation management with scientific principles.
